Match Website Resource! Thank you Northwestern!

Northwestern University OSR is pleased to announce a new website dedicated to serving medical school students across the country. It is created by two of our MS4's who decided there was not a centralized place for match information. MatchRounds.com aims to bring everything needed for a successful match onto one site. You will find evidence based content, useful match tools such as an interactive timeline, acronym definitions, links to sites such as the NBME and ERAS, and an expense calculator created to estimate the costs of the entire process.

Perhaps the most important part of our site is the MyMatch area, where students can research programs and add them to their list. After choosing programs, the site allows the student to track their interview dates which appear on their timeline, and add thoughts about each program as the season progresses. We even have an interactive ranklist so students can rearrange their programs up until they enter them into the NRMP website. As students begin to use our site, they will have access to information such as which programs have released interview dates to other students and when invites were sent out, as well as aggregate rankings and comments from all of our users.
